The idea behind kennel Beyo-Bel

We will always strive to do our best and hope Mother Nature is on our side.

B reeding is not something we choose just because we love our girls, but a decision we take after scrutinizing our girls’ temperament, health and exterior, and then check out on her siblings for the very same traits. No litter is perfect, this we know, but we take all parts into consideration before our decision is made.

Then the real work starts: trying to find the perfect partner for our princess! Not just the dog itself, but the strengths and faults that always appears in a pedigree. In this works Hilde uses the skills taught to her while managing a breeding-farm for Duroc pigs; It’s just the same, really, just that there was so much more data and all personal feelings were left aside.

Temperament and health come first. We want our puppy-buyers to enjoy being the proud owners of a Beyo-Bel Rhodesian Ridgeback. Then it’s the exterior. The Rhodesian Ridgeback was bred to be a functional hard-working dog and for this it needed a well-balanced body.
And if you get a Rhodesian Ridgeback with a well built body and a beautiful head, you’ve got a winner!

Puppy buyers

As we put a lot of time and work behind all our litters and give life long support, we expect all potential puppy-buyers to do their homework as well.

Why do you want a dog, and why now?

Why a Rhodesian Ridgeback? How well do you know the breed?

Do you want a dog or a bitch, and why?

Do you want a standard puppy, or one with no breeding/showing potentials? Do you know the difference?

Do you have the means to be at home to take care of the pup the first month? And what are your plans for the next months ahead?

How will a full grown Rhodesian Ridgeback fit in to your holiday plans?

If your family should split up, what will happen to the dog?

Are you prepared for a breeder that really cares?

These are just a few of the questions you have to feel comfortable with and know the answer to before you contact any serious breeder of any breed! And you should be absolutely sure that your answers are honest.
